Tiny Morris Book

Ciao, dear ones!

I have been working on this tiny book.. and it’s starting to pull

together… 

I had a stash of tiny fabric swatches that a friend had given me..

And decided that this tiny scrap of Morris fabric would be perfect for a 

tiny book

I have a lot more work to do.. but thought you might want to see it.

New Books Coming!!

 

Ciao gentle readers..

I have had several requests for books..

both tiny and regular sized books…

So I have started making three new books

One is not ready for viewing yet!!

The  tiny book, called Leaflet, is 3 x 3

and the one above is 5 x 6

I’ve opened the books to give you an idea 

Of the pages.. the tiny book is all cloth and the

other book is paper and cloth

I’ve tea dyed the pages and I don’t have a theme for the larger book.. but it will tell me what it is shortly..

I will place them in my Textile gallerie as soon as they are 

finished.

So we are off on a quick adventure..

and I will try to get back here before we leave

Back Home!!

Ciao dear ones!

We are back from our trip..

and it was delightful!

we did however notice the smoke from the fire in

Routt county..

it wasn't that bad when we were there...

celebrating his birthday dinner

Steamboat is a sweet town..

trying really hard not be Vail..

it isn't easy with all the big Money moving in..

the Yampa was quite low, but still a pretty spot..

and the Hayfields are still just as pretty as last year..

I find them so serene and lovely..

there is an innate peacefulness to the countryside...

We had very hot days and arrived home to more heat..

and in speaking to our neighbors..

who were born and reared here..

we all agreed that this global warming must stop..

it isn't a natural change at all..

it is literally oppression..

but even in the broiling heat I found life..

just squirting out in the most unfriendly of places..

and that tiny bunch of flowers cheered me beyond measure...

we are of course happy to be home..

and so grateful for a sage trip...

just as a reminder..

My  

Art Book Shop

will be closing on September 1..

so if there is a book you have been eyeing..

Tiny Song Sparrow Book

 

I think of all the birds..

I love the tiny sparrow best..

maybe its their diminutive size,

but they just delight me...

of course there are other birds in the book as well...

we had so many to choose from

to grace the cover.. 

but the tiny bird won the cover..
