In the Studio.. it's so hot!!

 

Ciao gentle readers!

It's been so wickedly hot here..

we normally have a couple of days in August

that are 90 degrees-ish

but this has been too early..

and too hot..

I still have gardening and walks to do so we are doing those in the early mornings..

In the studio I am working on my large light pink rose painting.. and I will soon have it finished..

But in between..

I am stitching.. working on my new stitch book..

she's nameless now..

but I know she will speak to me sometime soon..

I hope that you live in a place where the temps are cool

and fires are unheard of..

I have been joyfully tea dying..

using hibiscus and a tea 

named Lemon Zinger

I am planning on using them in my

new Slow Stitch projects...

and I wanted to share the lovely 

pink color that I received...

You might tea dye, or not, but just use the fabrics

you have on hand to make some small textiles..

to explore contrast 

and take a few minutes

to simply breathe...
