Ciao dear readers..
I am back in the garden in the mornings and the Studio in the
afternoon and I have just finished a new piece
in my new collection
titled the
Children's Hour
it concerns the annihilation of the people of
Palestine...
This piece is titled
The Empty Bowl
and my series concerns the suffering of the little children of Gaza and
I won't go into details because
I am sure you have heard about the situation
but
I rarely make political art..
as you know I am an artist true to my Italian heritage
I make beautiful things..
so it was difficult to do..
I chose children to state my case simply
and the graphic palette
to underline the severity.
This series is NOT for sale
it is for my own personal catharsis...
I often create work that no
one sees.. but this was too precious
to keep to myself...
this piece is on cradled board and
I appreciate your kindness at stopping by and reading this
heartfelt post..
