Autumn Walk

Salve!!

dear readers.. I hope you are having a glorious 

Autumn...

today it is overcast and a bit drizzly 

on and off..

But we did manage a lovely creekside walk...

and even without the sun, it was a colorful day...

 

everyone needs to get out of the studio 

and on some days... it is Very Important to 

go out...

one of the loveliest places on this walk is the 

Old Willow Tree..

it's a favorite spot.. and most people know about it...

its one of the charming places on the trail.. 

they aren't sold here any longer.. 

because they suck up so much water

but this one is so very charming...

I will have a few photos of my stitched piece that I have been working on

to share with you soon ...

and I am actually getting on with my new 

Goddess painting..

and almost finished with my Iris painting..

debating on the title..

Black Iris... or Merlot Iris.. 

can't decide!!

or inspiration...

We took a river ride into the park it was a gorgeous day..

I turn to nature..

most often my garden..

but often I venture out to look and see new and wonderful things...

Love Birds.. wood storks

my visiting cousin gave us a reason to go to

Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park

and Sanctuary

and of all the animals in the park..

A pair of spoonbills.. 

the birds are the ones that 

captivated me..

and mesmerized me..

I was so enchanted by them..

and now I feel ready to pop back

into the studio and start working

again..
