summer is the perfect time to stroll around
our little town ...
Brighton, Michigan
is charming...
there is a lot of duck feeding here...
kids love to congregate in this area below...
and the old boneyard is right behind the church below..
up on the hill...
we took a stroll before it got too hot last week
while they were setting up
A Taste of Brighton
last weekend
and I thought it was the perfect time to snap some pics before the crowds
came in...
there is a creek that flows into Mill Pond
and the pond
in our old town area is lovely in the summer and
doubles a skating rink in the winter..
and though main street is no bigger than a minute...
it has lovely shops and bistros ...
and gelato of course..
and a tiny farmers market..
that I will soon share with you...
and this is a perfect spot to stop and eat gelato...
quiet and peaceful...
