Celebrating the Twig..

I know..
I know..
it isn't Tuesday..
and I always blog on Tuesday ..
I am not posting a video..

But we have been swamped
at the Lily House..

We had a family issue to attend,
and I have been busy making scrap packs
for a special event..
Not to mention an intensifying weather event that looks as though
it has us in its target..

so,  I am knowing that you will forgive me
gentle reader for
being so tardy with this post..

I am still smitten with my tiny books and
plan to make more of course..

But right now, methinks we shall work on
hurricane preparedness..

so hold us in your kindest thoughts
dear ones..
and as always,
I am grateful for you..

Ciao, ciao!

I was actually on my way to let you know you are in my thoughts as this impending storm hits close to you. I hope you have sufficient preparedness, and are finding safe refuge. Believe me, dear, every time I see these images, I worry about you. And unfortunately, I'm seeing the impending hurricane a LOT. I sincerely hope it misses you, but I know you won't be able to avoid the rain, even if you are able to miss the hurricane force winds. PLEASE stay safe. We'll be here when this disaster is over, so please let us know you are OK once the winds die down and the rain subsides. Until then, I will just appreciate these tiny beauties you have created for us.

Those tiny books are the sweetest. Sure hope the hurricane isn't too damaging. I should check the news now for an update. Take care.

Now they've upgraded Dorian to a Cat 4 hurricane. I'm really worried for you. One good thing is, some of the models appear to show it could actually go up (follow) the coast and avoid much of the interior of FL. Please be safe and I hope you have an evacuation plan in place if it comes to that. Yes, I'm really worried for you, dear.

Just read your message that Dorian is no longer a threat to you. I can breathe again, because I heard from a couple other friends who are also safe. They are both far enough inland in the Carolinas and won't be affected by the surge or the gale force winds. Thanks for putting my mind at rest.

Hi Dr. E, I left you a message on your blog and thank you so very much for your most kind thoughts and concern. We are will and got just a little bit of rain, and we are well prepared for any storm. We would not take chances and we had reservations made .. for "just in case" :) X

Hi Merilyn, Yes, you must be excited about spring, we are happy to see Autumn, our leaves are just beginning to brown up, we don't get gorgeous color here like the rest of the country, but I look forward to cooler weather! We are fine, and all is well, thanks so much for your concern! x
