My Art Journaling Process -Part 4

dear readers and viewers..
I have the last segment of my series..

My Art Journaling Process

and I am sharing my pages as illustrations

to my last step in my 3 part process..

My process is,

Listen and Let Go
Pay Attention

By Pay Attention,
I refer to taking stock of what I have created
and reading a larger story..

something even bigger than what I had originally intended might
be revealed to me..
the muse speaks in symbol..

and those symbols may magically appear or take on a different format
size or shape..

if you want to see the whole series just use the link on my side bar..

Thanks so much for stopping by..
I am so very grateful..

hope you all have a beautiful weekend..

I love the beautiful journal you created in 2011, but the one with wings is fabulous. I love how you allowed our muse to take over and create those beautiful wings. Your heart is beautiful, but the book from 2014 shows how at peace you were. The fact you are bold enough to tear your pages apart when you need to start over, gives me courage to tear into mine, too. I really appreciate your process and your willingness to share it with us.

That should have read YOUR muse, not OUR muse. Wish our muses were that closely aligned, because I don't have your bold way of creating art.

I love seeing your process in the journals. I am completely incapable of carrying through with a journal so I especially appreciate your lovely work!

What a fantastic way to wrap up your video series, I so loved each one but seeing your journals and having you share the insight behind the pages was my favorite part. I hope to see more from you, great job!

So many different journals over the years, dear Cat, although they all hold that special way of creating, coming from your mind , heart and hands.
I love them all ,each you created beautifully, showing different places of what was in your mind of doing.
Thank you sweet friend.
Hugs, Dorthe

Hey Dr. E!! I like Our Muse, perhaps there is only one muse and we all share her, him, it!! Ha! So glad you enjoyed the tour through the journals and especially the wings. I have to share that I was fit to be tied!! I ripped it all off and just sat there, shredding music paper and suddenly the idea of the wings came to me and I just went with it.. I love how that happens!!

Diva, thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind remarks and so glad that you enjoyed the series. That means so much to me! :-)

Hi Roberta, Well, there are so many ways to art journal, I have a friend who keeps a journal of all the superfluous bits of papers that come into his life and it is simply amazing. He doesn't write at all, just glues and pastes and it is is outstanding..

Also this "small film" is again very personal and shows your development well. I like your works and projects very much. They inspire me and bring new ideas to me. Wonderful! (I also use Google Translator and hope it is still understandable, what I write here!) ;-)
