main street

summer is the perfect time to stroll around
our little town ...

Brighton, Michigan
is charming...

there is a lot of duck feeding here...
kids love to congregate in this area below...

and the old boneyard is right behind the church below..
up on the hill...

we took a stroll before it got too hot last week
while they were setting up
A Taste of Brighton

last weekend

and I thought it was the perfect time to snap some pics before the crowds
came in...

there is a creek that flows into Mill Pond
and the pond
in our old town area is lovely in the summer and
doubles a skating rink in the winter..

and though main street is no bigger than a minute...
it has lovely shops and bistros ...

and gelato of course..

and a tiny farmers market..

that I will soon share with you...

and this is a perfect spot to stop and eat gelato...
quiet and peaceful...

as always I am grateful for your kind following and readership..

wishing you all a serene weekend..

C4N!

Looks like a lovely little town! We love towns like that, and have enjoyed living in Kirkland because of it's walkability, small town activities, near the water and such. Enjoy your Gelato! Yum! We're going to "Kirkland UnCorked" tomorrow down by the water. Happy weekend to you!
