Torn Edges and Stamp Stories

well dear readers...

it is always great to find your work
in print..

doubly so when you find your work in

two great issues..
Somerset Studio Gallery
Sew Somerset

my torn edges
art journal spread was featured in
Somerset Studio Gallery..

and I have to say
that this was a breakthrough
for me

in art and collage
as well as
a personal breakthrough..

sometimes the best way to express oneself
is in an abstract form..

allowing the shapes and forms
and color to express
what we feel deeply inside..

My Stamp Stories
article was featured in
this latest issue
Sew Somerset

and as soon as I receive the work,
I will shoot some photos for you of each piece...

but this one was a special piece..

As Always,
I am in great company..
with wonderful artists..

and you can pick up your copies right now
at news stands all over..

I will return shortly with
May journal pages..

As always, I am in awe of your beautiful art. You are always a true leader in both mixed media and sewing genres. I look forward to seeing the sewn stamps, because what I saw was breathtaking. And I simply adore the beauty of the abstract pieces that include so many wonderful bits of different paper types. Keep up the good work, dear Cat.

I'd really love to see the pictures, in fact I can't wait. I'd also would love to buy the magazines but as they charge $36.- for one magazine to send to the Netherlands I'd better not. Always love your work Caterina!!

I love your work - muted colors, vintage papers, stamps, fabric - all so lovely. The piece with the green stamp is swoon-worthy!

I saw your lovely "Stamp Stories" a few days ago at the Barnes & Noble while on the road. Your artwork is so interesting, and I enjoy looking at it.
