life is art

well, gentle readers, I have just
received my copy
of
Artful Blogging
and you should be able to pick it up
soon...
I am really proud of this article...

it is my first non technique article
 titled...

Life is Art

my logo above..
and by the way, my logo is a fabric transfer that was
published in the first issue of Sew Somerset...
I thought it was fitting for me and my header and now it is
also the image on my
Moo business cards...

they kindly published several pieces of art...
First National below...

and two small pieces
that are also part of my

French Paper series

as well as some of my
bird quilts that were previously published in
Sew Somerset...

So if you get a chance, check
this issue out...
I think it is outstanding...
and I hope you like the article..

You made me SO happy when I read you changed comments. It appears I'm not the only person who is having this problem.

I knew you were going to be published in this magazine, but didn't realize they were going to show all those beautiful pieces. Those swans still speak to me. I adore how you used the J & P from the end of a thread spool in that piece. Those swans and that collage always make me think of Patty when I see it.

Thanks again, because I have missed not leaving you comments. As always, I adore your awesome art and appreciate your blog.

Yes, Cat. The weather is still quite lovely here in Kansas. We've had some hard freezes, but that hasn't affected my herbs for some reason. I just harvested my thyme yesterday, so you know I'll be trying some chartreuse dyed fabric soon. Thanks as always for stopping by.
