port 3 st. maarten

back to the travelogue dear readers...
as I am just finishing up with my September pages
and will have my
Travel the World journal to show you too..

docking in St. Maarten below, you can see how humid it was
even in the morning... my lens is so misty..

for those of you who have never been there,
it is so beautiful, colorful and lovely...
we enjoy it so much...
we decided to go to the beach for the morning and shop in the afternoon...

the taxi stand in Phillipsburg

we found a spot near the taxi stand, with a clear view of the ship below...

and in the morning you have no trouble finding a spot on the pristine beach..

there is just something about a  row of beach chairs, or maybe it is a row of anthing
that makes me swoon...
but anyway, we had the right mix of sun and cloud cover...

and later we went shopping since the shops are located directly on the beach...

darling alleys and interesting architecture...

and did I mention lush?

it is truly a paradise...

thanks for stopping by
and I will have art to share soon...
grazie!!

It's ALL art, in my opinion. Your photos are as majestic as your lovely journal pages. I especially like how you document your journey with non-traditional tourist shots, but definitely ones from your daily "adventures."
