new work on paper

the new pieces are a part of

the patching and stitching together
of my friendships...

gentle reader....

have you ever noticed that
sometimes a friendship looks like one thing

at the beginning ...

as you see pieces ...

and then as you grow closer...

it becomes something completely different?

I delivered these new works to
last weekend
along with
my

as always I so appreciate your
kind remarks...

How beautiful to see your works and thought process. It must feel rather different to expand into larger dimensions.... the artwork I mean, but I'm sure that you are as well!

oh, oh, i love 'rustica' cat... and yes, i have certainly noticed how friendships evolve and can sometimes end up looking like something else entirely that they did at the beginning.

These pieces are incredibly beautiful. I not only like what you have made, I like the size. They are much larger than I would have envisioned had you not shown the dimensions. I am in awe of your compositions. And of course, your color palette is always so appealing and soothing.

The new collage artwork is wonderful... and very nice how you tied and connected friendship to piecing together papers.

Brilliant my friend. As with my work, the process..the intentions ...the thoughts ARE what drives the pieces. Simply wonderfully complex!
