swap sneak peek

If you remember
our heroine was in Venice grieving
and recovering from the loss of her love...
and if you don't remember or have not been following my swap
with Kim Palmer of
Wandering Heart Studio
then go here.
to catch up and see and read my swap piece that Kim is working on

so just a few sneaky peeks today...
almost finished with the first page...
remember I am a hand stitcher so it takes me
quite a bit of time to finish each cloth "page"....

I have the story all written up
and the pages planned,
but you know how art plans go!! lol!

I am in love with my little
hand made paper heart...

some shabby stitches
mark the tears of the heart...

flying off to the studio to finish another submission
and get back to work on our heroines story...

C4N!

Happy New Year Bella. The textures and colours elicit varying moods. The paper heart so fragile against the weave of the dark cloth. Emotive!

You should have seen my jaw drop when I saw these hearts. I am SO impressed with your swap with Kim. You are such a tease! But, that paper heart looks so much stronger than I thought it would. Great creation! Now to see the entire piece.

Loving all the fabric and textures. So vintage and rustic feeling. It feels in sink with homeliness!

You right I should go to do this.

I can certainly see all of the time and love you infuse each of your creations with. The paper heart is the icing on the cake, especially with the sweet bird on it. Great piece. Thank you so much for sharing.
