Paper Quilts

ciao, dear readers...
here is my video
on
Paper Quilting...

I hope you enjoy it..

Remember when you try it out
at home...
if you decide that you want more color
choose a print for the
torn bowl piece,
I used a landscape in both..

and then the successive prints need to be in that
similar color palate
to keep the scheme cohesive..

have a glorious weekend...

Didn't realize you have a YouTube channel. That star stencil kinda matches your shirt. Pattern everywhere. Paper quilting would make great cards. Might have to give it a go. Have a good Sunday.

I always love your beautiful pieces you make for Somerset, and I adore the paper quilt. The stars make the piece, too. Thanks for sharing this because I missed this article.

Hi Tammy, the channel is new since last fall, and I am still finding my way, thanks for the feedback, I am not a card maker, but you are right, it would be a great technique! xox

Good morning, love your new videos. Have been following your blog for some time, this new addition is great. Have a question about paper. Have you heard about 'Tengucho' paper? It is supposed to be similar to 'tea bags'. Khadi paper has been on my want list for a long time. I'd like to get both styles of papers at the same time. Do you get the smooth or rough kind? Do you know of a supplier here in the USA? Also, can you suggest any other hand made papers that you like for journaling?
Thanks for your help, Diana

Hi Diana, thanks for watching! I have heard of Tengucho paper, Hiromi makes it I think.. hoping that Amazon will get it, that is where I get Khadi. I get rough khadi in the pad. I use tissue papers a lot for journaling and of course wrapping papers. As far as handmade papers, I generally buy those at specialty boutiques when I can and keep them stocked up. Sorry I do not have a source. However Amazon has lots of amazing Japanese papers as well as Khadi!
