Ciao dearhearts!
We finally finished this Vlog post..
filming over several days..
because you just cannot rush creativity..
There were lots of choices to make and those take time..
But I am very pleased that I have my travel journal finished,
and I can take my time working on the rest of the finishing details..
If you have an old photo album or old book,
I hope you try the technique..
Have a wonderful weekend dear viewers..
Ciao, Ciao!!

This is wonderful. The journal came out great, and it looks like your trip will not only be a success, it will be art filled, too. I admire how much time you spent creating this journal and sharing it with all of us. I know it will be even MORE meaningful once you are on your trip. It sounds like you are almost going around the world in 30 days! Thanks again for this video and all the ideas you shared to make a perfect handmade travel journal.
je commencé à regarder... c'est très instructif... et je me réserve ce soir pour revoir! magnifique! biz
This is simply AMAZING! Such a fantastic journal and a great video as well dear Caterina! Thank you!
Hugs, Susi
Hi Caterina,
When I am travelling I write my adventures down in a newly bought booklet ans yes, I keep them all for a long time and make art afterwards. You however, integrate the adventures with art at the same time! I loved to see your video, which is very instructive. If I can find the time (ha) I will give it a try next time. Thanks for the explanation, grtz
What an absolutely beautiful journal - I love how you repurposed an old, beloved album and made it your own. The antique linen you used to mark the sections is lovely. Thank you for sharing all of it - you have inspired me to go antiquing.
Fabulous presentation!
Your travel journal is delicious! Thanks so much for showing the entire process, as I have some old hardcover books that I've been hoarding just to make into journals, but had yet to find a binding process that I liked (I want to keep the spine and NOT sew my signatures through it, as so many people do). Thank you for a wonderful tutorial, and enjoy your trip!
Hey Dr. E!! Almost around the world but not quite!! My videographer loves to travel and once he starts a plan, there is no stopping him!! Always nice to limit flying and take a ship back.. just lovely to wind down and relax.
Cannot wait to start putting down the notes of our adventure!! x
Salut Elfi, merci beaucoup, j'espère que tu l'as aimé et que ça se traduit bien en français! xo
Oh... Susi, you are so kind!! Thanks and so glad you liked it!! xo
Regina, I hope you do try it sometime, I think you would like it!! x
Hey Jamcam, thanks so much and I wish you happy antiquing .. :-)
Bea, thanks so very much!!
Miss Iowa, so happy you liked the video! I just could not part with the spine, it was too pretty not to keep. I hope you like the process and enjoy making lots of journals, and thanks for watching and leaving a comment!! I so appreciate it!!
