Bird Quilts

Ciao, my dear ones..

today's video is in memory of my dear friend..
Mary Ann Lehrer Plansky

my heart is broken,
she was a most gracious, kind and talented
artist and friend..

I met her several years ago as a blogger
and kept up with her
most often on Facebook..

I know wherever she is now, she is most definitely stitching a
bead onto fabric and creating something
amazing in a new series...
with thoughtful meaning..

so today I have a project for you..
a stitching project..

However...
 you could simply just
collage the whole piece and it would still be
intriguing..

Instead of Sari Silk..
you can also use other fabric and manipulate it in the same way..

whatever you decide to do,
I hope you enjoy the process and
raise a toast to my dear friend...

Sorry to hear about your friend. Have marked your video to watch later. Looks like a lovely project.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. Peace be with you.

This is such a neat project! I was thinking of doing something similar in paper and using 'paper twist' for the sari ribbon. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us!

Oh, Cat, I am heartbroken! I didn't know anything was wrong until that last post. I tried to contact her, but no response. She was the sweetest, kindest person, and so talented... I will miss her so much.
