Bird Collages in Somerset Studio

Birds of a Feather
absolutely do flock together..

and if you get a chance to buy this issue,
I hope you take a peek..

I combined antique bird prints,
and dendritic prints and small bits of stitches..

to create these collage
works on paper..

and as soon as I get the other pieces,
I will share them with you..

Lots of changes are going on at
Stampington and as always, I am very grateful
to have my work
published..

this week in the studio ..
I am working on some new pieces for
Holiday for 142 Bis Gallerie..

think roots, growing things.. and old book covers...

and experimenting with transfers and some fun products
for my next YT video..

as well as tearing up old papers, which is my one weakness, you know...
 for
my new series..

Excavations..

but never too busy to be grateful for
YOU!

Great stuff, Cat! Congratulations on the publication, and all the other wonderful things you're doing. I'm so happy for your well-deserved successes! Your videos are wonderful, your new work is gorgeous, I don't know how you do it all! I'm pretty sure it involves working your butt off, though... xoxox

Haha! You've watched Lark Rise? I have that issue of Somerset Studio. The article was great. I love your collage work.

I always love your collages, but I love even more your hand stitching. I only wish I could stitch by hand, but I'll leave that fun technique to you and do all mine on the machine.

I was very impressed with these different pieces and look forward to seeing them in print. I'm also looking forward to seeing more of your excavation series, too.

Hi cHim prints! Thanks for your comment! Yes, years ago we watched it and it is a joke with us, sorry it sometimes slips in on the blog! Thank you so much for your kind comments and I am so happy you enjoyed the article! Thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment, I so appreciate it!!

Hi Dr. E.. so glad you liked these, they are different for sure, and I am really consumed by the Excavation series and finding it hard to work on other things.. sometimes the obsession with edges just takes me over!! Thanks for stopping by.. I don't get out as often as I like, feeling stretched a bit these days.. but I will pop over soon!! x
