There are so many ways
to secure your handmade
journals
and
books..
gentle viewers..

I have barely scratched the surface..
let me know if you
are interested in hardware and elastics..
and I will create another
video

I have a long list of upcoming topics for videos..
believe it or not, I am already working on another
tissue paper video..

experimenting with products..

upcoming videos include:

More Mixed Media Textures and Backgrounds
Monotypes

and
another
Studio Tour
this time I will share all my current works in progress

but the next video will be

and I will be opening my journals to
use as illustrations..

Have a glorious weekend..

I really enjoyed this video and it gave me several ideas for how to finish off a couple altered books I have. Thanks for taking so much time to create this video and also for sharing it on your blog.

Hello dear,
I so enjoyed seeing your many beautiful books, Cat- they are so wonderful, all- and the tying them together, with your different ways, too- I love the last ones, with the wide ribbons layered under something to hold them in place.
Thank you, for inspirering once again-
Hugs from me- xoxo

Hi Cat -- your work s lovely! I've been following along on YouTube for a few months. I have noticed art journal artists in general use magazine and other sourced images that must have copyrights, no? There's an assumption that it's okay to used other artists' and photographers' work so long as you are not selling it as your own.

As an artist creating mixed media pieces using your own images and "antique" out-of-copyright texts, you seem more careful and aware aware of these issues and I really appreciate that! In your beautiful art journals, however, do you include magazine and photo images? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic.

Thank you again for taking the time to share with all of us. XO
