This was a wonderful tutorial. I really enjoyed it. Please tell me your studio is not always so neat and tidy! When I do collage work I have papers everywhere, globs of paint and gel medium on my table, floor and myself! I really look forward to your next video. Thankyou for generously sharing your process.

Thanks so much for making everything look so easy. I love your videos, and this one was especially great. I have paid some "big bucks" for tutorials that are not as good as yours. I especially love that you do them in small increments, building up a process. Have a great weekend Caterina! Sue

Enjoyed watching you create these projects.
Do you ever use a brayer instead of your bone folder to keep your papers down or to seal them tightly on top of one another?
Thank you for sharing, it was a very good video.

I was SO impressed with your collages. I love how you put things together as you work. I usually have to think everything out before I start, but you seem to be able to wing it. I think that's what makes your art so much freer and less static than mine. I adore what you shared in this video.

BTW, I think I need to invest in a good bone folder!

Dear Cat,
your new video, is so beautiful. You create and show so many things, techniques , and stunning results, and your lovely way of explaining and showing, makes it a wonderful time spend with you.
The collages are gorgeous, and should certainly be seen close up, and touched, too, to really understand, and feel the beauty, but even here, on a video seen far away in Denmark, I am touched by their peaceful beauty.
Hugs, Dorthe

Carol, I am laughing, because I guess I am a neat freak, I cannot work in too much chaos, so I try to keep it all as neat as possible. It drives me crazy when I cannot find things and I dislike getting anything on me, I usually wear gloves and I have a mask for sanding! which I will share in a future video... I do make messes and I always leave the studio in the mess of creation each night, but the rest of the studio is usually clean and pretty neat. Sorry!! :(

Hi Sandy, yes I do use a brayer, but I tend to use it more for other processes and larger surfaces, the bone folder makes a great connection with the paper on small surfaces. Thanks for asking and for watching!

Hey Dr. E, you simply MUST spring for a good bone folder. It makes a great connection with paper and paste on small surfaces and is primary in book making. I love a brayer too, but I usually use it on larger surfaces. Thanks for the compliment, I ALWAYS wing it and I had to really come up with more of a plan for the video, which was really hard! It makes art journaling a difficult process to share, because it takes a good month for me to produce pages, they are so intuitive... thanks so much!! x

Dorthe, thank you so much dear one, I am so happy you liked the video, and the new collages. I had to really think about the process, and I am so glad they made sense and you enjoyed them! xoxo
