Italian Collage Sneak Peeks

sneak peeks
are like cliff hangers..
half of a really good sandwich...
or a "taste" of wine...

they keep us
thirsty...
hungry for another morsel..
desire is a very good thing...

I am delighted to share with you these
little snippets
that are part of a larger piece of work...
a mixed media
Italian collage piece
that I finished recently

that will be included in
Roxanne Evans Stout's
new book

I am so thrilled to be a part of this book,
and to share this new painting...

if you have not seen Roxanne's
work or visited her site
go to

she is an amazing artist,
and great teacher...
so check out her class schedule too..

I promise to have
have October pages for you soon..
gentle reader

I like how you describe a sneak peek. It really does make you thirty and hungry for me.

Congrats on being part of this new book. I look forward to seeing the piece in its complete state. You always make such admirable art!

Goodness. That should read hungry for MORE, not me. I have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote that (thinking ahead is sometimes not a good thing), but I saw it and laughed at what I had written. I'm SO BLOND today.

Oh what beautiful sneak peeks! I can't wait to see the book, and the full images of your beautiful creation - I also love Roxanne's work, and am sure the book will be such a visual and verbal delight. (I feel very honoured to also have a creation in this book - I will have to share a peek of it sometime!)
