ascension

transformation
is a word that I use in the place
of death..
we think of death as being so final

and I do not believe that for a minute...

my Ascension
book has been published by Sew Somerset..
and it was if you recall inspired by my Brother in Law
Terry...

Available at Barnes and Noble beginning June 1

who died quite suddenly
and left his dear wife bereft as you can imagine...

I decided early on that I would create a book
for Sharon and it would be a transformation
of the loss into
a piece of art...
and a keepsake...
that reminded us all...

Big thank you to my new Editor Christine and Stampington, for publishing this dear project..

that death is just a change
and not a finality..

as one who has lost so many
I can say with certainty
the reason that they say
"Old age is not for sissies"
is not because your hair turns grey
or your bones become cranky..
although that is not a blessing...

it is because so many
you know and love
leave you as you journey on your path...

I will leave you ...
with this post while I take a little blog
holiday through the weekend and as I work on some
new pieces...
with Italian Collage..

ciao, ciao!
