a little southern snow...

well dear readers...
I am drinking Numi Green Jasmine tea
and writing this
post
in the toasty studio...

the view out the window this morning... just a bit frosty...

where I am working on my
January art journal pages...
and finishing my Grey Waters pieces...

We had quite the storm last night...
really scary for Southern VA...
Big wind and a few inches of snow...

which pretty much stops the whole city...

at the front door

Tomorrow is my
61st birthday... and I am going to take a few days
off to play and celebrate...
so I wanted to leave you with a post...
for the weekend...

hoping that your weather is far warmer
than ours...
though, I must admit, I cannot complain...
the first snow we have seen since last year in Michigan...
and with any luck, the sun
will melt is shortly...

tiny drifts on the back patio... I wrapped the chairs in large trash bags...

but I cannot help of dreaming about
magnolias, camellias and crepe myrtles
all blooming soon...

and I got my Seeds of Change
catalogue in the mail yesterday...
so I can dream up
my new garden
once we are finally
settled...

ciao, ciao!
