in the boneyard

ciao...
gentle readers...
tempus fugit...
it was only yesterday that I took these
photos in the local
boneyard...

late summer...
late afternoon...
bees humming and birds chirping..

and now
the leaves are falling and the chill is rising...

the perfect boneyard temperatures...

it is a perfect time and the perfect post
to share with you that I am closing up
my Bell'Antico blog...

I am still a brocantuer,

however, I want to devote more time to art and
La Dolce Vita

so you will see more photography on
this blog
than you have recently...

and I will be posting more frequently...
as always I so appreciate
your following
and
I am thinking I will have more time
to visit your blogs more often too...

grazie, grazie!
ciao, ciao!

  2. What is it about cemetaries that draw us to them? I love your photo with the broken headstone and little flower coming up in between.

  10. When we would visit my Mammaw for holidays growing up, the cousins and I would always venture down the road to the cemetery to read headstones. Something about them that is just so interesting and gives a brief history of lives that were. Glad to hear that you are finding balance and will be sharing more here. Take care and have a wonderful weekend. Tammy

  15. Boneyard .... I think I heard it for the first time in a Patricia Cornwell novel. Cat it must have been quite time consuming keeping up with 2 blogs so I am sure you have made the right decision to concentrate on the one. Looking forward to more posts and photos here.
