transfer love class

my
"Transfer Love"
class begins this Sunday
and here are some of the examples that
we will be doing in class

this is a thin plastic transfer
that we will be making the first week of class...
it is delicate but strong enough to be stitched
and thin enough for light to
pour through the fingers of my hand....

below is the close up of this piece

the first week we will
be doing Omni Gel and Gel Medium transfers
both fast and slow transfers on paper and cloth
as well as these
"skin" transfers of the butterfly...

we will be
doing
solvent transfers...

and caulk transfers
both white and clear...
and using different kinds of papers...

heat transfers
and wax transfers...

as well as
modifying printer transfers
for paper...

to take the class
just go to my Dolce Shop
Transfer Love is $75
for 4 weeks...

there will be written instruction
as well as videos for each
class...
classes are uploaded each Monday with the
exception of this Sunday which is the first.
the class begins the first day of the month and ends on the last day of the month.
your email address will be entered into the class
blog and you will have access to class and be able to leave comments.
you will be able to email
photos to me directly and they will be uploaded to the class blog...
to share with the other students...

this is a technique based class
so you will be working on perfecting your transfers...
rather than making a project...
I will trouble shoot and assist you with understanding the principles of transfer
if you have any questions please email me!
ciao, and I hope to see you in class!

  1. This looks absolutely fantastic, Cat! I love the techniques you are exploring here. I don't have that sort of cash right now, but if I did, I would do this workshop.

  7. Hello my lovely! I am back from the woods and catching up! This looks stunning and I would love to do your class but I cannot afford it right now.
BTW, on the allotment, we have been using organic slug pellets and they are really doing the trick. Plus, I have been much more laid back about the slugs and snails around my cucumbers and actually, it's been fine!

  25. Thanks for your lovely comment on my Nichos- try (Sacred Art Images.com) for nichos and there are other sources too online. I got this one from a woman in Santa Rosa Ca. but they are out of business now. I love to paint and rust them as well- they make for very creative little canvases. Thanks again for your comment and interest!
