it is hard to believe that this journal is finished.
I started this journal November of 2007 when my dear friend, Kelly Feraro and I began co-facilitating a monthly art journal group...
it has been a wonderful process and the artists have all become closer for sharing their
dreams and desires, demands and constraints with each other. I think art journaling is such a powerful
process, because it is a gift that I create for myself and from this gift intuitive messages are always revealed.
these pages reflect the pieces that I am working on for Two Graces for Christmas. they were
originally vintage polaroids and I have enhanced the color in these transfers on paper
using oil pencils. to me they represent the inner landscape. a safe place, meditative and peaceful. a creative area of my life that I can access whenever I want.
the ingredients are transfers on paper, oil pencils, water color, collage, micron pen and pencil.

Caterina; these are stunningly spectacular pages! I love them! What a beautiful journal!
Looks wonderful, as always. Oh I have learned a new word: scrumptious!
I always like script you can only guess that's there...a whiff of script.
Journals are so very personal and your pages are filled with the colours of life.
Your use of a variety of materials all nicely blend into one homogenous artwork in which each tool is allowed to shine without over shadowing the other.
Thank you for sharing your journal with us,
Egmont
ahhh!! these pages are beautiful, cat! xo
This looks wonderful Cat....such special images and gorgeous colours.
I love the idea of an inner landscape; a safe haven. Reminds me of my yoga classes.....

You inspire me again and again oxo
This is just superb!
What a beautiful finish.
I love the serene "other-worldly" look of your pages. I think I might stay awhile!
Wonderful colour to the tranfers Cat with the colour highlighting. Great pages for the journal. I bet your happy to have one finished! My studio is all packed away now and I feel sorta naked, LOL! Of course all I want to do is play! I have that much creative energy at present it's ridiculous. So many ideas and no way to play! I will have notebooks full of project ideas for decades to come at this rate!
Love your journal pages. I'm a great fan of journal keeping and have so many, I'm never sure which one I want to use.
Thanks for your comments and Sylvia really was very entertaining.
Just Stunning! I immediately gasped when I saw the pictures - love the look of your pages!
Your post is like a beautiful painting- gorgeous to look at - but it doesn't stop there. You keep looking to see everything you missed just a second ago, and then keep looking to see what you missed a second before that!. Love your palette of colors- so gorgeous as well as your painting. Reminds me of trees of a million colors on a brilliant autumn day in New York! From seeing you post, I'm going to paint some old photos tonight. Thank you!
Very beautiful Cat. I like the idea of inner space.
I think I'd enjoy wearing your work because it's so soft and colorful. Guess I'll have to settle for wearing your art in my spirit.
